Lauren Catlin



Lauren has extensive experience in the area of complex commercial litigation, including legal malpractice defense, contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes and class action defense in state and federal court.

Lauren earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin, where she competed as a member of University’s Moot Court Team and served as an Editor for the Wisconsin International Law Journal.  While at the University of Wisconsin, Lauren clerked for the Honorable John L. Coffey of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.  Lauren was also a member of the Dean’s List, received the highest grade award in Civil Procedure I and Real Estate Transactions, and was invited to join the Order of the Coif upon graduation.

Prior to attending law school, Lauren worked for two years as an honors paralegal in the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division.

Lauren is admitted to practice law in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.  Lauren is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
