Thomas D. Warman is an associate in the firm of Figliulo & Silverman. Tom concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, with an emphasis in business torts, contract disputes, bankruptcy and eminent domain.
Tom received his bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in History and Criminal Justice from Carthage College, which he attended as a Lincoln Scholar. Tom received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, cum laude, in 2003. In his second year of law school, Tom was admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois and served as co-lead counsel representing the plaintiff in a jury trial. In his third year of law school, Tom worked as assistant coach for the College of Law’s mock trial team and was President of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. While attending law school, Tom was also employed as a law clerk with the firms of Beckett & Webber, P.C. in Champaign, Illinois and Adamski & Conti in Chicago, Illinois.
Upon graduation, Tom was employed as an associate attorney at the Chicago firm of Kelly, Olson, Michod, DeHaan & Richter, where he worked in the area of general commercial litigation.
Tom is the co-author of an article entitled “Contract Dispute and Resolution” published in the Swiss Business Hub’s Legal Handbook for Doing Business in the United States.
Tom is a member of the Illinois and Chicago Bar Associations.
