Steve Viz obtained a $4.176 million jury award in an eminent domain case.
It involved an eight acre industrial property in Chicago and it was taken by ComEd for a new power station. The trial lasted a week and the jury deliberated for 3 hours. The verdict was nearly $1.2 million more than the value ascribed to the land by one of ComEd's appraisers.
