Jeff Harris receives humanitarian award from Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
On October 21, 2005, Jeff Harris received the Frank Cabral Humanitarian Award at the B.I.G. (Breathing is Glorious) Ball held at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in Chicago. The Ball was hosted by the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis and the University of Chicago.
Jeff has been actively involved for many years in organizations dedicated to helping find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis, to improving the lives of individuals with the disease, and to promoting awareness of the need for organ and tissue donation.
The award, made by the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis, recognizes a person who significantly improves awareness of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in their community and nationwide, who selflessly furthers the mission of the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis, and who shines as a beacon of hope and inspiration to all those suffering from this disease.
