Gregory L. Stelzer is an associate with Figliulo & Silverman. Gregory concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, including professional malpractice claims and securities fraud defense.
Before joining Figliulo & Silverman, Gregory served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert B. Kugler, United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey, and the Honorable Denis R. Hurley, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to his clerkships, Gregory practiced law with the Chicago firm of Hopkins & Sutter.
Gregory received his bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from Northwestern University in 1995, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with honors. In 1998, he received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as an editor of, and was published in, the Minnesota Law Review. He has also taught legal writing at the University of Minnesota Law School and judged moot court competitions at Rutgers University School of Law and Touro Law School.
Gregory is a member of the Seventh Circuit Bar Association.
